Fabric of Ehuna Consulting
Born out of the desire to create purposeful market research that helps clients weave and share brand stories with authenticity and assertiveness.
After nearly 20 years working in multiple market research global firms, I realized that I am more than a moderator, market research consultant, and former journalist.

I am a story-weaver and truth-seeker; one who sees wholeness and oneness at once, and can provide higher strategic truths as well as tease out foundational details.
As a story-weaver, I help brands, businesses, and individuals find their unique voices, show up authentically with their purpose, and weave a powerful journey with their soul audience.
Thus, Ehuna Consulting was born. We understand the human journey and that we are more than what we share overtly. The threads that conform to each of us weave together multifaceted stories.

The words behind Ehuna Consulting
Words carry so much power and meaning and I honor them in my path.

“Ehuna” is a Basque word, meaning “the fabric” and can be interpreted as the fabric that is woven together.

My last name “Olabarrieta” is also Basque and is derived from the Basque words "ola," meaning "forge," and "berri," signifying "new".

In my Hispanic heritage, our mother’s last name is an intrinsic part of our identity. Mine is “Torres” which means “towers” in English.
These words embody our vision to forge new and more meaningful ways for brands and individuals to elevate their stories.
My story
I am a 13th-generation, Puerto Rican woman living in San Diego with my 13-year-old son. I am proud of my heritage and am fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
My career spans over 30+ years in feature-story journalism, diversity and Hispanic market research, coaching, public relations, and advertising.
I believe everyone has an important story in our collective human experience. I have great respect for people of all walks of life and love to hear their stories. In fact, I've had deep conversations with numerous individuals from presidents of countries to people living in the streets.
My avid curiosity and pursuit of personal truth and development have been pivotal in how I approach everything in life. I am a Certified Profession Coach, Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, and Meditation Teacher.
I am passionate about going beyond the traditional mindset to inspire us to think less linearly and more multi-dimensionally. This yields greater expansion and possibilities.
